"sm70- why not Duesenberg?" (sm70-whynotduesenberg)

Roughly a month into my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It’s been a fantastic gig, get to work with some great people, some incredible cars, and a couple fun events. I’ll try to show more of the cars soon, but this morning, I was shooting this brand-new Mulsanne Speed W.O. Edition by Mulliner, 1 of 100 built in honor of the brand’s 100th birthday in July. The attention to detail on this car is berserk.
And yes, I’m shooting on an iPad 6 for social media so the pictures are mediocre at best.

That’s a hideous nose on an otherwise stunning car.

There is an option on all Mulsannes for what Bentley calls the “Serenity Grill”, which replaces the chrome vertical slats with dark mesh. It’s how I’d have mine, makes things much better.

Did it come out that color on purpose?

After years of not seeing a Bentley, I spotted two in one day. I only caught a picture of one.

Is that the same colour as the Royal Bentley?
interesting fact on the Royal Bentley. The mascot is changed (just like the Queens flag) when the car is in England or Wales, the mascot is of George slaying the Dragon, in Scotland it is changed to a lion.

I knew the part about the hood ornament change. As to whether or not it’s the same color...it’s similar, but knowing Bentley I doubt it’s actually the exact same color name. I’ll have to check

That’s an improvement, it looks a little less like Mitsuoka did it, but I hate the headlights.
I don’t really like the nose of any recent Bentley or Rolls, tbh - which probably puts me in the minority.

The car. I see Svend’s comment so I think the color is a throwback. I like a lot of vintage colors and think car buyers these days stick to a smaller pallet. W hile it is good to see something outside the norm, this color is not really flattering. I am someone to blame as one of my cars is black, the other silver, but I make up for it with the light blue Volvo.

Just double checked and yes, the color is called Claret and it’s the same as the Royal car.
